The 54V Brushless Motor gives the equivalent power of the corded machine. Its ergonomic dual handle with critical width and angle dimensions helps to reduce user fatigue. The mixer has a high power FlexVolt battery system that ultimately provides the equivalent performance of a 1.8kW corded tool with the added convenience of a cordless machine. The DCD240 uses an M14 accessory connector, enabling it to be used with standard mixing paddles. The mixer has an adjustable 5 position speed dial, and when changing speeds the motor will ramp up and down slowly, enabling the operator to maintain effortless control and prevent splashing. It has also been fitted with a lock switch which is built in for health and safety purposes to avoid accidents.
